Chimay has a magnificent castle in the lower town. Guided tours are organised in this splendid castle, which has a history stretching back more than 1,000 years. You can also enjoy its mini-golf, which is waiting for you!

Scourmont Abbey is a must-see in our beautiful region. Situated on a plateau near Chimay, this abbey will immerse you in the production of Chimay Trappist beers and cheeses.

Nearby, the Aquascope in Virelles is just a 5-minute drive from Chimay, where you can take a stroll around one of the most beautiful lakes in Wallonia, in the heart of nature, where bird species abound. The Aquascope also offers a wide range of activities.

A little further afield, the Lacs de l'Eau d'Heure in Cerfontaine (a 20-minute drive from Chimay) are there for you to enjoy with your family or friends. They offer a multitude of activities to suit everyone's needs. From kayaking, swimming and windsurfing to the little tourist train, mountain bike trails and Ravel, there is plenty to keep you entertained (not to mention their countless restaurants and brasseries).
